Thread: Quicklinks income account missing

  1. Quicklinks income account missing

First let me state that we are currently using 5.5 and Quickbooks Contractor Edition 8.0. We are able to push estimates over into Quickbooks with reasonable accuracy. Our main problem is that we are unable to add new products to QB, or grab any client info from QB. When opening up the add item screen, the area for income accounts, expense accounts, etc is not populated. I have had extensive conversations with Seth at D-tools and the support team for QB (overseas I imagine.) We have narrowed it down to some permissions that differ in name or title form one version of QB to another. I was wondering if anyone at DSG had any experience with this and how to fix it. We are hesitant to give all permissions to every user in the company because of the sensitive information within QB.

    Cheers

A couple questions for you -
    1. How many users do you have that are using Quicklinks?
    2. What are the permissions of each of those users?
    3. For the users of QL that have full access, are they also experiencing the issues you mention?
    4. When you push estimates over into QB, does it allow you to add new products at that point? And if so, is this the case for all users?

We'll check into it and see what we come up with.
